A boutique advisor, on purpose
I'm Rafi Mizrahi, and Travel Atelier is my practice. I specialize in luxury hotels and resorts and in made-to-measure trips across Europe, the Middle East, Mexico and Hawaii, with a particular focus on families and multi-generational travel.
I came to travel from finance, and it shows in how I work. I like the numbers to make sense: which room category is worth it, when a points redemption beats paying cash, and when it doesn't. I also know points and miles well, which is why I built the free Amex points map.
My own trips tend to revolve around food. I'd rather stay in a quiet, walkable neighborhood where you step outside and feel like you live there than in the obvious center of town. I bring the same instinct to every trip I plan: five-star comfort, plus the small, local details that make a place memorable.
I work in English and Hebrew.
Three kinds of trips I love
Resort stays
A short list of places I stand behind, booked with VIP perks where available, typically at the same rate as booking direct.
Weddings & groups
Destination weddings, milestone birthdays and anniversaries: the room block, every guest's booking and one point of contact.
Family trips
Multi-generational travel where grandparents, parents and kids all get the trip they wanted, under one roof or close to it.
What working with me looks like
Honest advice
Which suite, which month, and when a resort isn't the right fit for you.
No added cost
Hotels pay my commission, so you typically pay the same rate as booking direct.
VIP perks
Breakfast, a property credit and upgrades where the hotel offers them.
One contact
Me, before, during and after the trip.
Guides I've published
