Quiet, unhurried, and very good at the details
Las Ventanas opened in 1997 on the corridor between San José del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas, and it helped define what luxury in Los Cabos looks like. The whitewashed suites step down toward the water, every one with a private terrace, and the service has a way of anticipating what you want before you ask.
It works for very different trips. Couples come for the spa, the ocean-view dinners and the sense of privacy. Families take the two- and three-bedroom suites or a villa, so everyone has room to spread out. And for weddings, it's one of the settings in Mexico I suggest most often.
What it isn't: a party resort, or the place for a bargain. If you want nightlife on your doorstep, Cabo San Lucas is about 25 minutes away, and I can suggest the right night out.

Which suite to book
Couples
An ocean-view junior suite is the sweet spot. Ask me about the ones with rooftop terraces, which are ideal for sunset and stargazing.
Families
The two- and three-bedroom suites keep everyone together without sharing a bathroom. For a bigger group, a villa or residence adds a private pool and far more living space.
Celebrations
For a milestone birthday or a wedding week, a villa becomes the base camp: a place for the welcome drinks, the getting-ready morning and the after-party.
Getting married at Las Ventanas
The resort has oceanfront ceremony settings and its own wedding team, so the day itself is in experienced hands. Where I come in is everything around it: holding the right suites for your guests, managing every booking, and making sure each of them arrives with the same perks you do.
For the most popular months, start 12 to 18 months out. The rooms for your guests go before the venue does.

Questions I get about Las Ventanas
How far is it from the airport?
Roughly 20 minutes by car from Los Cabos International Airport (SJD). I can arrange a private transfer so someone is waiting when you land.
When is the best time to go?
November through May is dry and sunny, and December through March adds humpback whale season. Summer is hot and quieter, and June to November is hurricane season, with the highest risk from August to October.
Is it good for families?
Yes. Two- and three-bedroom suites, villas and residences give families real space, and the resort runs Rosewood Explorers activities for younger guests.
Can we get married there?
Yes. The resort has oceanfront ceremony settings and its own wedding team. For popular dates, start 12 to 18 months ahead.
Does booking through an advisor cost more?
Typically no. You usually pay the same rate as booking direct, plus VIP perks where available.
